These drawings were made for a campaign which urged senior
students to become a "mentor" (guide) for freshmen. The sleepy
character is a caricature of my friend Cees van Schie, by now a
succesful lawyer.
Caption: (the rather insipid text was written by somebody else):
There was a little angel, who said |'Get up, student! | And
give these freshmen a happy time! | I'm doing my best as a
'mentor'. You, too?'
